A versatile Product Designer with experience across agencies, start-ups, and global corporations.

My career kickstarted with a playful exploration of interfaces found everywhere: video games, microwaves, ovens, car systems, and even humble doorknobs.
Luckily, I was able to channel this curiosity into my decade-long career by designing websites, leading user research projects, and crafting digital products for businesses in Canada, the UK, and South America.
By understanding how design affects companies, humans, communities and other aspects of the environment, I bring people together and convey empathy to business decisions.
My role at the Alcumus SafeContractor allowed me to assist in scaling local B2B SaaS products to a global platform to aid contractors achieve and maintain health and safety compliance for over 50,000 organizations globally.
Before Alcumus, I was at Epiphan Video, working in the product team helping lead the digital design process for B2B and B2C products focusing on remote video production and audio/video streaming.
A life-long fascination led me to always be on the lookout for how we can create meaningful connections and enhance experiences, whether physical or digital.
_______
My values
Collaborative team-driven effort
Design is a collaborative process where everyone is involved. Effective communication and teamwork reduces ambiguity and increase project ownership and success, especially in uncertain situations.

Craft and curiosity
By balancing usability, beauty, and delight within the project requirements, the goal is to provide the best visual solution possible. My curiosity and research over the problem space makes me deeply empathetic towards users, their feelings, problems, and how I can best advocate for them.
Ownership and long-term thinking
I take a holistic, systems-based approach, owning problems and helping guide teams to turn high-level ideas into actionable plans focused on long-term thinking.

Be kind and share knowledge
Understanding that life and business are challenging, I treat others with kindness and respect. Sharing knowledge in many shapes and forms is part of my work: I know the importance of sharing new skills, workshopping, communicating, presenting research and offering critique — always highlighting the value of design.
